what is a rush crush

It’s a term used to describe a pnm an active really wants in her sorority or even to take as a little. The pnm normally has a lot in common with the active. For me, the active who’s rush crush I was dmd me, commented on all my insta posts, and during actual rush she came up to say hi to me every day I was in the house (she’d also like my photos late at night after voting was done to let me know I was coming back which is lowkey dirty rushing but oh well). For me, ive dmd my like four rush crushes and I comment every time they post. My friend group sends each other our rush crushes so we all follow them and all comment on her posts so she has a ton of our chapter commenting thus putting us more in her mind. I haven’t directly told any of them they’re my rush crushes bc to me that’s dirty rushing, but I kinda allude to the fact I really like them. I also comment more interesting comments than “cute” and “so pretty” on their posts.
