Why don’t the frats have pools anymore

I saw an old pic on barstool a while back that showed a frat house with a pool. Why don’t any of the houses have pools anymore?

That would be a lawsuit waiting to happen and they would never be able to get coverage from an insurance company. That’s why.

The university has become a lot stricter on fraternities and parties. They can’t even have a slip n slide for a party even though they could 10 years ago

The old pic was the Phi Psi house at U of Arizona. As the previous comment insurance payments are crippling Greek Life. Greek Chapters are under intense risk management pressure to avoid any issues that could pose a civil risk.

Lots of houses used to have them.

Cousin was a SigEp at Texas A&M and they had a huge pool back in the 1990s.

But because of insurance reasons it had to be filled in.

Too many accidents and deaths from pools for fraternities or sororities to have them.

In today's society everyone is just looking for an opportunity to sue someone, so insurance rates are through the roof. Plus the woke crowd is just itching for an opening to claim it is oppressive and just white elitism.
