A lot of pnms on here have questions about instagram. I’m here to answer your questions but if you are on here asking these things get off of greekrank and go ask an active who you know rather than trusting this anonymous cesspool.
1. How much do houses care about what my ig feed looks like, what I look like, what I’m wearing in my ig etc?
It depends. Some houses care what you look like. But to be honest, as an active I’ve stalked a few girls but I’ve forgotten most of them except the ones I actually text. I personally care a lot more about your resume and if your fun to talk to and who you are than what goes on your ig and VSCO and I think generally that’s a pretty well represented sentiment. However, there are girls who go through your insta if you’re even lucky enough to get noticed before rush and tear it to SHREDS. They will criticize you on things from your looks, your friends, your captions, bios, whatever. Only some houses do this but in my house I have been disturbed by how much it goes on and it makes me really uncomfortable
2. What does it mean if a house or girls in a house like/comment/follow me?
Usually not much. It means they know who you are. It means someone has sent your profile in their insta group chat. It means at least one girl knows of you and is making sure you feel welcome. It DOES NOT mean you are getting a bid. it DOES NOT necessarily even mean a house likes you. They might just be seeing what you are up to. Generally though it’s a good sign. But don’t let it set any kind of expectations. Houses that do this often have requirements for members to comment and like as many girls as possible and if you have Bama in your bio and no one even knows anything else about you that is enough for you to get follows and likes and comments
3. Should I follow all/none of the houses? Are the actives checking to see who I follow?
Up to you but yes we do check to see who you follow and who is following you. Take that information and do with it what you will.

I forgot to say... we can find out if you have a finsta even if it’s on private. I’m not even sure how I just know people do and it’s creepy so be careful what you post. Just keep it classy and don’t post anything illegal or that would make you look like a standards risk on any of your accounts

Guys these are FACTS! Not even your private stories are safe. I’ve heard some things about pnms who posted a tik tok or a private story or a tweet that got them blacklisted. If you don’t want that, don’t put things that make you look stupid or that are illegal on the internet. If you’re a party girl it’s ok we will figure that out without seeing your drunk snapchats

^adding to this we also find your tiktoks, vscos, etc and that’s where we tend to find a LOT of bad stuff that can get you dropped No social media platform is “safe” tbh. Keep it clean and classy on all platforms
