Yes. Also Kappa is the new Zeta. It’s like they swapped.

Agree. And I am not a Zeta.

But I think KD is in more trouble than Kappa.

Saying kappa is new zeta is true but not a suggestion that they have fallen far. Zta is strong already. KD is proud and still a top house but they are in a slump for sure and might be lower than agd at the bottom of old row tbh

Kappa has really fallen off and it is kinda funny. All the old ladies are clutching pearls at the reality of HOT Zeta over taking their beloved Kappa. Worst yet, what are these ladies going to do when one of these Zetas become their husbands sugar baby in a few years!!!

AXO, XO, AGD and PM killed it for Old Row. Worst classes Kappa, KD and DDD have taken in years.

I agree that Zeta made great strides and deserves to at least be in the first tier conversation now.

First Circle is now the Worst Circle.

Someone please explain to me how Zeta and Kappa switched?

Zeta got pnms that everyone wanted, including kapp. Kappa got a lot of good looking girls that were cut from most of all of old row for grades or rep or lack of relevance. That is who zeta used to get. Now it is who kappa got. Zeta was able to be more selective and the bid was more sought after this year. That’s how.

Zeta is ALL over this site when reality is lots of their pnms preffed Alpha Phi over them.

I don’t know specifics, but the reality is that zeta filled up on first list. So aphi might have gotten girls that also preffed zeta, but that does not mean zeta was their first pick. Everyone after the fact says they got their first pic. Returns on pref for zeta we’re through the roof for them historically. Zeta had a phi mu and axo like rush. They had buzz all week. It was something to behold

I don’t think we can consider it a full switch until Zeta gets in state tops and Kappa has a bad retention rate and spring rushes. However, Kappa got a much cuter pc than years past, at some expense with QRs. 😬 KD was riskier actually, in my opinion.

I disagree you need in state tops to be a top house here. The instate girls from the traditional Bama areas of the state are king off. The best are from north alabama but not hville. From BHM but not mtnbrook. It is a big change.

I don’t think kappa cares and is probably happy for Zeta. They don’t have crazy alums like KD

Agree the girls could care less and i am sure kkg is very happy. It’s the alums that should be worried because the brand is falling off. Kd too.

I know of several girls that didn’t even choose Zeta for preference round, that’s what I meant. They were girls they were all over before, and they chose to pref Alpha Phi as one of their two. I’m dying to know who these top PNMs Zeta is raving about are, because from what I’ve seen, there’s one gorgeous in state girl so yes huge gain on her, one KB type from OOS, and one cute but 12 year old looking girl from OOS that had more of DZ all over her than OR.

I just share what i am told by several older girls in old row houses. They only know they lost girls to zeta that they never lose to any new row. Zeta made a move. We have to acknowledge facts on the ground. Idk.
