Remember to keep all options open. Just because you got cut its not because a house didn't "like" you, it could be because of factors like GPA or lack of recommendations. Don't be disappointed, it takes a lot of determination and courage to even sign up for rush. Also, please do not base any further decisions you might make about rushing from this site. Most info is not that accurate. You shouldn't be distracted during rush bc you are trying to find answers from this site. Talk to your recruitment guide instead. This what she is there for and I'm sure she would love to help you and can offer some encouraging advice. Hope this helps.

If you don't feel that you belong at a house, then don't join. There are many ways to get involved without being greek. You will have alot of friends both greek and non greek so do what feels right, but don't feel obligated to go somewhere that is not the right fit. It's not fair to you or the other pnm's who may want that house.

I disagree. If a house likes you well enough to give you a bid. Accept it and work to make that the house of your dreams. For sure don't accept it thinking you can drop later...

I agree with not taking a bid if you don't want a certain house. You ruin the chances of other girls who really want the house that you don't like. Don't put a house on your pref card if you don't want it. It's rude
