social differences between houses?

I am OOR, and will go through recruitment this year.
I met an active at a HS graduation party here (in the north) last year and listened to her conversation with other sorority girls at different schools.
I got the impression her house (at Bama) had frequent date parties at cool venues around town, theme parties, events and formals - many more and bigger/themed events than the schools in my home state.
Question - are all houses at Bama similar in this regard or do some have more events, theme parties, formals, etc. than others? Are some houses known for better events? More fun events?
I don’t know if I could do it all, but would like to have the option. Is it a problem if you don’t attend all events - does that depend on the house? \n\n\n\n\n

KD/KKG - a continiarion of HS friends and parties
DDD/PM - Old row frats “new” friends.
PiPhi/ZTA - New rows go to houses and OR doesn’t mind if they do.
APhi - reliably a good time.

DZ is a party house in a vape and tattoo are always a possibility sort of way.

To the poster that brought up vaping and tatoos at DZ. Most guys arent into girls with tattoos. Same with the vaping thing. Thank you for allowing me to share my opinion.

Ok but also about tattoo and vaping posters dz is not the only house that has girls like that every house does even old row

Total crap. You do not have to be in one of those houses. Every house has about the same number of parties. And the date parties are where the girls invite the guys, so it doesn’t matter what house you’re in. The only real difference is the Old Row frats mostly hang out with the Old Row sororities and New Row hangs together. But of course there’s always overlap. The parties are there - and it’s up to you which ones you want to go to.

So fun to see people make up complete BS on this site. Frats and sororitys rotate parties and make a general effort to party with different groups and keep good social favor with all. Yea, a favorite house might be scheduled more often, but there are plenth of partirs for all no matter what house you are in.

Yeah, but I’ve heard stories about some houses that don’t get good turn out at swaps - particullarly with certain frats?
