I heard that the machine is going to require that every house have at least 1 or 2 representatives of another race because Bama is getting such a bad reputation. I heard that otherwise the whole greek system might be shut down for constitutional reasons.

if it's the machine and not the university, won't they do it? I can see telling the university that they can't require it, but the machine can, can't they?

Yes. The machine can do whatever it decides to do and the fraternities and sororities that are a part of the machine will have to do what they're told. So if the machine says we're having black pledges we will. I think if the university, though, tried to tell fraternities and sororities that they needed to pledge black members there would be a riot.
