Honest opinion here....if a PNM is engaged to be married, will houses see her in a more positive or a more negative light?

I'm in a frat, so I can't really tell you if its gonna hurt you, but lots of girls here are engaged junior/senior year or after they graduate. So it might be smart to keep it to yourself in case they think you're too young and wont have anything in common with single pledges

I disagree with that. I think you'll be fine going through recruitment engaged. We're women after all

Well thank y'all! I was just curious because I didn't know if it would make a PNM look good because it shows a committed person or if it would work against a PNM because they might not want a girl who is too serious with her life so soon?

Nuts is a harsh word. Naive is more realistic in this scenario

You have the rest of your life ahead of you. Are you gonna have a 4 year engagement, or will you get married in college? You can't be married and be in a sorority as an active member, and since girls are looking for members for 4 years, you'll probably be an easy cut. Congratulations, though.

You asked for an honest opinion - if you say you are engaged, it will hurt your rush.

Most chapters have a rule that you can't be married an be an active member, so unless she is going to have a 4 year engagement, I don't see how this could work.
