I have actually heard Phi Delt's is pretty tough. I don't have a clue about Sigma Nu's though

yea they probably have the hardest pledgeship in the nation, let alone at alabama.

It won't be near as difficult as you think, based on last years
Mess. Social media and lawsuits over alcohol poisoning and
Wrongful Death have toned down the hazing (as it should be
toned down based on these ridiculous events). In short, you
will be fine. Have a good time and don't worry about it.

DX, Pike, Pi Kapp, Kappa Sig, DTD, and Theta Chi have all been in trouble in the recent past on new row, although some may have toned it down since. None on new row will be as bad as DKE, SAE, or KA though, and the toughest will probably be up with Phi Gam, Phi Delt and Sigma Nu.

This is a stupid question. How can you ask a person to compare one pledgeship to another when they themselves have only been through their own.
Of course someone who say that they went through the hardest pledgeship, they all think that, and there is no fair way to compare because its secret.
Generally traditional houses, historic houses, well connected houses will have harder pledgeships. This is about how accurate of a statement you could get.
Also lower tier houses will also haze because 1. they try to act like the big leagures 2. they have less to lose (reputation etc.)
Mid tier will TYPICALLY haze the least as they are building to become top, they do not want to lose their reputation or be kicked off.

But the mid-tiers and upper mid-tiers also wannabe Old Row --- just look at who has received or was just coming off probation since we have been here.
A bunch of the lower tier houses don't have hard pledgeships because they can't absorb the kids dropping out

Some of the new row houses will be as tougher than some of old row, but the absolute worst will be some of old row. Sigma Nu and Phi Delt are probably not that bad though.
