question
by: If it HappensSo I know the talk about our school taking women of color into pan sororities has been put on the table recently, and one day within the next few years if not sooner, will prob happen. My question is, would this make sororities like SDT who already accept women of all races more "mainstream?"

Sdt is not on the outs because they have black sisters. They do not participate in formal recruitmet, they dont have a house on the row, and dont have good grades or involvment. They will remain "random" until they join the process of recruitment and start doing what all of the other houses do!

Isn't really trying to be mainstream -- they do what works for them with their national's blessing. The kind of PNM they target probably isn't going to be interested in formal recruitment anyway. They provide a great alternative for girls who want a smaller, more laid-back sorority experience. And they're awesome in my book for being diverse and inclusive.
