My advice is to stop comparing yourself to others. If you constantly are doing that and constantly wanting to next best Louis Vuitton bag or Cartier bracelet, you are never going to be happy. There is so much more to life than the brands you wear and if someone can’t see that then that’s so pathetic and honestly sad af.

Doesn’t matter how much money you have if you never learned the lesson about not wasting it.
If you need $500 a week for spending money in college, this girls is not much impressed but .. hey, at least the American Economy salutes you.

If you have to ask what wealth is, you don’t have it. If you talk about it you don’t have it. If you think a Gucci belt is a statement…you don’t have it.

first off anyone who can afford to be dropping 7k-10k on dues alone is well off.

i am an OOS student in a mid tier sorority and most girls are totally normal and aren’t spending like crazy. I know one girl who’s parents make close to 5mill a year and she spends like crazy but other than that I don’t know many people like that.

There are definitely rich people here that have money but I’m sorry southern definition of having money is nothing near what northern or western kids think of. Look at the stats of how many billionaires per state.

If you’ve ever been around truly wealthily people (billionaires) you know they aren’t as flashy and many times keep things lowkey.

I often compare college with people I know that go to Ivy League schools, Stanford, USC, SMU and while bama may have some “rich” people it’s nothing compared to these schools.
