what do y’all mean by “wealthy”????
by: ?????I keep hearing that girls who go here are wealthy but to some ppl that means parents making $100k a year and to others that’s 400k so around how much do girls parents make here??? I’m asking bc I want to have fun and go to nice dinners and I tend to get jealous easily so I don’t wanna lose out on fun. How much do girls spend a week on average here?

I love it when these threads deteriorate into moral judgments and social commentary.
Remember, the OP starts with is $100k "rich" at Bama question.
The simple answer is NO, by a long shot. And if you are asking, be prepared. And if you are the "envious type" be really prepared
All good advice.
As to the ethics and morals of those who have and/or spend lots of money, there are as many stories here as there are individuals. Please don't generalize.

The nytimes has articles on colleges based on family incomes titled “Economic diversity and student outcomes at the university of Alabama”. The median income for a family at bama is $130,200; 5.8% make over 630k and <1% make over 1.9million. Take these stats as you will

Not that I can put a lot of input here since I unfortunately didn’t go here, but my guess is based off the amount of money spent going out you’d need roughly $500 a week to not feel out of place. When I visited, girls consistently paid for our ubers and at least a round of drinks each bar we went to. Add a nice dinner and $500 will be gone quickly. So add a new outfit/makeup product a week, “personal vices” and a couple drunk meals and you’re monthly expenses are going to add up.

Does anyone here understand that wearing logos is incredibly low class?
a) to people with less than you, you look like an arrogant jerk
b) to people with more than you, you look like an embarrassing pathetic tryhard.

II'd generally say the "Greeks" are more than likely to have the higher end of the income average, But even with the numbers provided above with about 400 girls in the house....
24 will have a family income greater than 630k
2 to 3 of the actives a family income over 1.9 million.
More than 200 will have family incomes greater than 130k.
