honest opinion please

Hey yall. I'm a Sigma Chi legacy and am attending Alabama in the fall. I was wondering what you're honest, non-biased opinion was about Sigma Chi. My dad wants me to rush and pledge them but I don't want to join them if they're a bunch of jerks. I can pledge anywhere but my dad really wants me to follow in his footsteps. I'm just trying to get a better assessment from the greek community. Thanks!

They're fine, just go and meet some of the actives and see how you like them. If you like them and are lucky enough to get a bid, then good for you. Enjoy your time.
You shouldn't assume that just because you're a legacy you're automatically guaranteed a bid though.
