which gpa will they look at?
by: GPAFor rush, will they look at overall or UA GPA? Overall GPA includes summer transient classes and UA GPA is classes solely taken at UA. This would be for a sophomore or junior rushing.

Then why are you so concerned about your GPA? You'll be on the same zone either way... or are you using your supposedly high grades to compensate for your other shortcomings? 🤔

I'm just curious which GPA to put for when I sign up for rush as well as what gPA to put on my resume and send to people writing my recommendations. A 3.75 is good but still average and a 4.0 is great, i'd like to know where I stand. Just a question. No need to be rude.

And I have many strong in house connections and would consider myself attractive. So no other short comings but thanks for asking :) I did not rush freshman year because I did not know if it was for me, no other reasons!

If you are currently a UA student, any classes that you had transferred over will be calculated in your overall GPA. They will use that because Panhellenic will give them that GPA, which is your current, up-to-date GPA. If (only if) you are taking classes this summer and those completed classes get submitted in time for rush workshops, will your GPA change.

I actually emailed panhellenic about this recently, the houses will get both so I guess it’s up to them which to look at! Does anyone know if UA GPA or overall GPA is used ingrade reports? Not for freshman obviously but it’s very common for upperclassmen to take summer classes.
