greek chic

by: um

Anyone else notice that in the "what to wear/not to wear" section, all four of the girls in the "do wear" were white and blonde, and 3/4 of the girls that were dressed inappropriately were minority women? Not really cool, in my opinion

itโ€™s not that serious believe me. They just picked people

I get that for sure- I don't think it was an intentional decision. I just thought that after the multiple scandals this year that maybe they would be a little more conscious of how that looked.

Surprised anybody would think of it like that. We are getting way to PC. Sure it was some Freudian white privilege thing... smh

it may not have been intentional, but he unconscious bias is real and it's not a good look for us. I expect Panhellenic to do better than this.

I guarantee that it will kinda rub pnms the wrong way. Considering how much work goes into greek chic I would have thought that someone would have caught that.

The good intent was there. The execution needs some work.

Yay! Something effective actually comes from GR. The slight misunderstanding toward racial insensitivity and subconscious
bias was handled by editors of Greek Chic.

woah I had no idea that this post would get this much attention/likes and would actually lead to the Greek Chic pictures being changed. Good on Panhellenic, I'm actually really proud that they addressed the situation.
