recs
by: MeaganHow many recs would be considered too many? I have lots of Greek friends and family, so on some houses I have 5. Would this seem like overkill, or would it make it seem I'm very interested in the sorority?

...of the PNMs I've done recs for had 3 or 4 and they ended up in sororities they love! I mean, if a sorority likes you, they aren't going to say "oh well, she had FOUR really great recs, let's cut her." Two is about the norm, but three or four isn't unheard of, so I wouldn't be stressing over it. The ones who need to stress are the ones who try to rush at schools like Bama with zero recs.

Under the Recruitment tab then go to Letters of Recommendation in the drop down menu. In the second paragraph it says "While it is common to send multiple Recommendations/References to one sorority from separate alumnae; it is unnecessary to exceed more than two. Please use personal discretion when deciding on how many Recommendations/References will be sent on your behalf."
Hope that helps!
