IDK if it will, but for sure it should. Everyone today knows it's the right thing to do, but we feel hamstrung by redneck alums pulling the strings.

Um... you don't have to read a thread or comment on it.

I think things will work out and our greeks will want to modernize.

Fraternities are private organizations. They can pick whoever they want and exclude whoever they want.

From what I have seen, the Greek organizations have been trying to integrate, but the issue is that very very few people of color want to rush IFC or panhellenic organizations, they prefer NPHC orgs. The few minorities that do rush IFC or panhellenic almost always get bids because houses are trying to diversify, they just don’t have much of a pool to choose from. Obviously, there are certain houses they they probably wouldn’t get a bid to, but its not a problem with the entire Greek system as a whole because there’s other houses that would love to have them, it’s more of a problem with specific houses

I feel like it’s an issue of connections, or at least for Old Row fraternities. They pick who they know from HS/sports teams/legacy etc., and a lot of those guys are white. For New Row fraternities and sororities, who supposedly choose members based on things other than connections, racial backgrounds should be a bit more diverse.
