does rush for fraternities start as early as the sororities? I think sorority starts the 8th of aug?

Formal rush starts in August, but really the fraternity parties are all through summer. Go sign up for fraternity recruitment, but e-mail the fraternities you're interested in. Give them your contact info. It's better if you know somebody already in the fraternity, but don't let that stop you.

What part of august? I signed up and emailed some, im trying to come down for the summer parties but when if I get there around move in day like the 16th is that too late?

Not necessarily, a lot of fraternities take up some last minute kids right before classes start

you have the option to rush Old Row, DO IT. You'll see the difference while rushing.

Every fraternity has bids left. It may fluctuate with how many, but even DKE and SAE will make room for someone at the beginning of school if they like them
