preview weekend

How crucial is preview weekend? I wasn't able to go because of a previous commitment, and being out of state it would've been a big hassle to go. Does this change much?

Not much. A few girls from my high school didn't go even though it is pretty close to UA. The girls who went had a maximum of ten minutes in each house. Because so many girls go and only briefly meet the sororities, I doubt they really remember them too well.

Preview weekend really doesn't matter at all. It's mainly for girls who aren't sure if greek life is for them so it's a dry run of rush. I'm in a sorority here and I promise its not a big deal!

Seriously, if you didn't make it, it's over. You weren't here, so you can't do it over or make it up. Live with it.

Preview weekend can help you get to know the sororities better, and vice versa, but everybody starts even in August.
