rushing as a sophmore questions

I graduated high school a year early and had to go to cc. I decided this year that I want the whole college experience including sorority life. I am transferring to ua this fall. I was wondering how hard it was to get a bid as a sophmore. I know it is harder,but how hard? Do I have a chance on getting A bid from a sorority?
If i mention that im double majoring and will be there for four more years will that help? Also I have a 3.8 as my gpa. Will that help?
Any advice will be helpful. Thanks!

There's always a chance that you'll get in just like there's always a chance that you'll get cut. You seem great on paper, but you may not fit in with the houses. That's ok. Just be yourself, and everything will work out the way it should.

Please ignore that comment about losing weight. I rushed as a sophomore and had a full schedule every day. It is very possible do get a bid as a sophomore, you just have to work harder than the freshmen to sell yourself.

thanks for all the advice. I know this will be a hard process no matter what. Fingers cross i get into a sorority!!
