Since so many people seem to think this is just a safety school for people outside of Alabama.... how many of y’all turned down “higher-ranked”/harder to get into schools for Bama? Which ones?

I got into UF and UGA, picked Bama. I just couldn’t see myself in Gainesville or Athens.

Same, Bama was my top choice and I considered Uga, but didn't like it

I was accepted to Clemson, USC, Penn State, Maryland, The Ohio State, UVA (although initially waitlisted), Auburn, Emory, and Villanova. Love UA and didn't even apply to some others that were initially on the list but didn't rank as high. No regrets. Roll Tide.

I got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Alabama. Obviously chose Bama - ROLL TIDE!

got into UF, UGA, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, UT Austin, & Bama. Chose Bama, and I honestly could not be happier. Love this school. RTR

I'd say the hardest school i got into was UIUC. But Alabama's scholarship was too good to pass up so

Penn State, Virginia Tech, UGA. Alabama offered me a full scholarship. Roll Tide.

I’m from Atlanta and always assumed I’d go to UGA. My dad’s friend’s daughter went to Bama and he convinced us to go tour it. Love at first site. UGA’s campus is so old and rundown looking. They don’t have anything like the quad there either. But sorority and fraternity row sealed the deal for me. Top 5 most beautiful campus in the country!

I felt the exact same freaking way but didn't know how to describe it. The campus looks old and dreary. Like a movie shot in England
