by: OosI'll be in t town for a weekend and I don't have a lot of time to meet with fraternity's so ill only have time for one. I'm deciding between theta chi, sigma chi and delta chi. Can y'all brief on each house so I can see who I'd rather visit

OX- Top of New Row, popular with ladies, pretty boys, good parties.
EX- Great New Row house, good parties, impressive physical house, all around good house.
DX- New Row house on the rise, tough southern boys, not sure about their parties as I've never been to one.

I don't have a horse in this race(Old Row, Baby!!) and can't believe I'm saying this but if those are the houses you're looking at I'd look real hard at DX. They've come up well the last year or two, are an affiliated fraternity and merit a certain amount of respect. They are who they are and are welcomed and respected in their seat at the table in a way that SX(too average) and OX( a bit too girlymen) are not. SX has a fabulous new house but have always seemed to be a very mediocre bunch to me probably because they are. Theta Chi is a good fraternity but how much do you really think of them? Look at DX and also take a look at Pike(these two are getting similar).

If you're from out of state, you'll have a hard time getting into these 3 houses. Especially KA. There's a chance to get one from DKE or SAE though, but not a big one. OX, DX, and EX are all great fraternities so don't worry about trying to go Old Row. Those 3 houses are better than KA anyways.

house will be large majority Southern, so if that's an issue, you should probably not bother haha.

DX still will take northern boys. As long as you're not a slicked up Jersey boy, though. Just depends on what kind of northern guy you are.
