Honestly, you won't find too much luck joining an old row house - they are firmly southern, hard-hazing, and hard to get into. There is a variety of choices left to you, then: Join a New Row fraternity (either a bigger house that is trying to act like Old Row, in which case you may get dropped; or a smaller house that accepts people from all over the U.S.). You would have a 100% chance with a colony or recently chartered chapter, since they always need new members.

what I've heard Phi Gam, Sigma Nu, and presumably Phi Delt take guys from the North, although you'll find new row houses as good or better than those that also take guys from the North.
