difference between xo and axo?

AXO has more geographic diversity and more "dorks", while XO is more southern state focused and a little more social. That said, each has a major legacy population which is very loyal and gives them a substantial advantage in recruitment.

XO is more down-to-earth and a little more selective/exclusive. AXO think they are best and let everyone know it. It comes off as fake for many of them.

XO has a lot more balance and is more consistent in terms of the quality and personality of who they recruit. AXO has something of a split going on where they have these super smart, bookish girls who don't really go out and then they have their beauty queen cheerleader homecoming queen types that get out socially. The reason AXO is consisdered a top house and usually above XO is because their "looks" girls are usually smart too (or at least smart enough not to drag the average down much). XO has some degree of cynicism among its members that AXo does not have.

XO isn't quite as welcoming as AXO to PNMs they have no interest in.

XO tries to project a more chill, well-rounded image than AXO even though they're just as competitive and driven. Definite "work hard, play hard" vibe.

XO places slightly more emphasis on connections/wealth/zip code/in-state vs. OOS.

That said, they're both great options for PNMs who are the right fit for either.

This is a ridiculous thread. Both are very strong sororities. Both have smart, involved, pretty girls. Both are highly selective.

I Am OR, but neither of these. XO is obsessed with beating AXO and starts threads like this. Both are good. Chill. Xo attacks other old row too. It's annoying.
