Friend in ZTA talked about being a deb
Looked it up.
Big deal in her area. Northern OOS.
Secretive selection process.
Big donations to Children's Hospital. Family history of donations. 500 people black tie.
White dress Pearls. White gloves.
Pics online in society page of local paper.
Not just a southern thing.

In Birmingham, Mountain Brook debs (Ball of Roses, Beaux Arts Krewe Ball, Heritage Ball, Redstone Ball) are usually in KD, Kappa, DDD, Alpha Gam, and XO.
The Poinsettia Ball (some MB but mostly Vestavia and Hoover) has lots of New Row and Old Row representation.

Debs invite their friends to the festivities. A few years ago, one deb had her entire pledge class to her ball in New Orleans. If you are lucky enough you might be included in a deb's festivities too. They are some of the best parties and events you will ever attend, short of your own wedding, and a lot of fun.

This OP confuses me. You must be asking about the Fort Wayne Debs, who are bottom dwellers in the All-American Girls league. You should be focusing on the most important thing right now, which is where are the Belles. Glad you asked. The Racine Belles are starting Panehel work week at a secret location just outside of Cottondale, Alabama. We have selected this location because it allows us to keep an eye on our rivals, the Springfield Sallies, who are also conducting their own shadow recruitment. If you are tired and weary of traditional sorority rush at Alabama, give us a chance. We will be hosting Malted Milkshake After-Parties each night of recruitment and at any time you feel unsure or lonely, know that we are there for you.
Have a Blessed Day, Y'all.
