swap no show.

I have heard stories of houses that have swaps where the fraternity no shows last minute or sends only drunken pledges.

Are fraternities "forced" to swap and then behave like this?

Does this happen to some sororities more than others? Why?

What frats are the worst offenders?

Help me understand this. And if it's true. \n\n\n\n\n

Definitely true, DKE is the worst offender. It happens with less popular sororities or sororities that aren't very popular with certain fraternities it differs. For example, DKE's would be much happier swapping with KD or Kappa while Pike would be much happier swapping with Alpha Phi or Zeta than the other two it all depends.

So why does a swap get scheduled where
The fraternity is not so interested.

DKE is "bad", but what gets them into such swaps to begin with? Why don't they just not plan to swap with certain houses?

Do any sororities "ditch",no show or send only the pledges to certain fraternity swaps?

Would DKE even swap with APhi or ZTA? Or Pike with KD or Kappa?

If they have, did a "didn't show" thing happen either way?

Honestly, I would go "nuts" if this happened to a house I was in. I wouldn't care if no swap was planned or agreed. But to plan it and then no show or be rude.....not sure I could take that.

Trying to figure who this happens to most. \n\n\n\n\n

I honestly don't remember the fraternity, but had a DG roommate who came home very upset after such an experience.

It was weird. A few days later she was like " the swap was fine".

Will be curious if anyone admits this. Definitely happens. Girls seem to prefer to keep it quiet though.

im in a top OR house and SAE was basically a no show for our swap. there were only like 5 or 6 really drunk pledges there and it really turned me off of them lol

I have a friend in theta and dke basically scheduled their swap with them as a joke, I'm sure it happens with other houses too

Same happened w aopi this year, they also only swapped w aphi bc they are "known to put out"

During Greek week Kappa had SAE as their partners. When the dance competition SAE was a no show and Kappa had 4 girls on their stage.

It still happens. DKE the worst offender. But their basement/party room reeks. And it’s just a bunch of chubby 5’5” dudes (nothing wrong with short kings) Let their high school friends have them. Not sure why other sororities besides Kappa / KD schedule swaps with them. I’m OR and quit going to their parties. Way too many cute fun guys in other OR and some NR University houses. Although they do have a great location for game days. That is the ONLY time i will go over with friends.
