So basically, no one except for maybe 4 or 5 people at the top of leadership know if or how many girls they took in COB. But I'd say that 30 girls dropping because of sisterhood issues is a huge lie. Why? Because now we have grade reports for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017. Numbers don't lie. Phi Mu accepted NO new members in the Spring, so any reports of them COBing in the Spring are strictly false. And it shows that they took 151 new members in the Fall, which is in line with other Old Row sororities who took between 136 (DDD) -158 (Kappa) members themselves. So unless you're implying that Kappa and KD also took a ton of COB in order to get up into the 150s, claims that they COBed in the Fall are also false.
The difference in total members between the Fall (430) and Spring (416) is not any different than other OR sororities. AXO (∆11), XO (∆19), AGD (∆28), DDD (∆23), PM (∆14), KD (∆18), Kappa (∆31).
The numbers show that they are on the side of more popular when it came to recruitment, and they are on the higher side when it comes to member retention. If anyone wants to argue this, give some proof. Saying "I heard" or "my roommate told me" is not evidence.

As much as I find so many of their members annoying, GC posted the number of girls each sorority got on bid day. From Old Row, the difference between bid day members and the grade report's "New Members" count is: AXO (-1), XO (-2), AGD (-3), DDD (-2), PM (+4), KD (+10), Kappa (+10). It's clear that KD and Kappa accepted tons of COB as well, but only PM gets criticized about it here. Why? Because someone got tired of bashing them over their house - which is a stupid thing to criticize them about because PNMs don't care.
How about a conversation about how KD/Kappa also COBed and the atrocious retention rates for AGD, DDD, and Kappa? That just pretty much proves the point on this board that in-state houses that have strong in-state cliques also have bad sisterhood.

Ooooh, look at the downvotes. Someone doesn't like the truth getting exposed. If your sorority has more new members in the Fall semester than bids were handed out on bid day, that means more girls were added in with COB. Sorry to wreck the narrative.

Nobody's claiming they did Spring COB. Everybody knows about the fall COBs. It was definitely an off year for them in terms of recruitment, but I also don't believe 30 girls dropped. That seems ridiculous.
