question

by: Rushing 2013

Is there any way to get on the radar of most sororities prior to rush? Also, how important are letters of recommendation and what is the best way to get them. I'm from out of state, but a legacy at one of the sororities but still unsure of where my place will be.

Ask around the women that you know and see who you know in which sorority! Twy can send in letters to the sorority asking to add a pnm to the mailing list!

Also attend Panhellenic Preview Day (2/23) if you can.

Recommendations are crucial! You must have them for EVERY group, including your legacy group. And please don't think the fact that you're a legacy means you'll automatically get a bid. Most groups, even the "unpopular" ones, have so many legacies they can fill two or three pledge classes with legacies.
