pledge with a car

How bad is it to be a pledge with a car?
I'm going to be off campus next year and was wondering if it would be better to leave the car at home during pledgeship.

As a sorority girl, I don't think it's that bad for guys considering none of my frat friends ever spoke about it. I know the off campus frats are big on having their guys DD because their houses are off campus. And the only time I ever saw on campus frats off DD's was when there were packs of girls who wanted to go to off campus pledge parties (which are illegal).
I mean it really just depends what frat you pledge. Some frats have upwards to 60 pledges in the fall so they may never even ask you to DD because there are so many other guys that can. While some frats barely have a pledgeship season so.
Overall, I'd suggest to bring your car. If you can bring a car, you might as well.

If you are pledging your fraternity don't bring your car. If they know you have a car (they will find out) they will make you DD and will make your pledge brothers use your car to DD. You don't want to be responsible for what happens if others drive your car. It can get ruined by drunk idiots throwing up or putting out a cig on the seat (it happened). And what if someone crashes it? Bring it second semester.

It is not unsafe to get into a car with a DD pledge because of the pledge himself to go to an off campus house...... girls PACK into trucks and cars, I'm talking 10+ in a sedan and god knows how many in the bed of a truck....... however it's definitely unsafe because of the driving conditions lol. If you have a car actives will definitely want you to use it to DD them wherever they want and girls to pledge parties, and you'll probably have to let your pledge brothers borrow it so they can DD too depending on how many in ur pc have cars
