who are our core four and elite eight?

I posted this as a comment already, but think it's an interesting topic. Who gets the last spot in our Elite Eight?

A lot of campuses have a "Core Four" and "Elite Eight." I'd say Bama's are:

Core Four: AXO, KKG, XO, PM

Elite Eight: the four above + DDD, AGD, ADPi ....

Who should get the last spot? PBP, ZTA or APhi?

I think PBP should be part of the 8. I like looking at it this way because you're not singling out any houses as being in a "bottom" tier.

I’d say PBP but this is really it:

No order

Core 4: XO, KD, DDD, KKG
Elite 8: add AGD, AXO, PM, PBP (ADP close)

IMO Zeta is higher than APhi or PBP. I think they're even ahead of ADPi.

Zeta may be ahead of Pi Phi and Adpi when it comes to guys... But when it comes to sisterhood, campus involvement, philanthropy, grades, etc. those two are much further ahead than zeta and lightyears ahead of alpha phi

This is def a nicer way of ranking than throwing houses into a bottom tier. And I vote Pi Phi for the last spot.

Put KD in the Elite 8. I know they struggle, but they're still better than ZTA, PBP or APhi.

Core 4: AXO, PM, KKG, XO

Top 10: add PBP and ZTA

believe it or not, i am not an alpha chi. but this really is the way things are when you consider EVERYTHING....it's just well-known knowledge and rush returns back it up. More girls choose to return to Alpha Chi than any other sorority. I am open minded enough to see things. This is how recruitment goes and the sororities as a whole.


Very Top Overall-- Alpha Chi

Now this is how it goes with girls thinking about "tradition" and partying:

Very Top--Kappa, KD, Tri-Delt

And this is how it goes if you take "tradition" out and go by most desired 10 in Rush:

axo
kappa
chi o
tri delt
phi mu
alpha gam
kd
pi phi
adpi
zeta

And this is how it goes if you look at the nicest sororities, and you were really looking for a genuine sisterhood:

Anywhere among all 16 except KD and Phi Mu... these are the only ones I think that have distinct cliques


And say what you want but i have no affiliation with any I listed as top or bottom

ZTA and APHI are so close its hard to separate them. They both put on a great recruitment. Not an ADPi fan,but I do like Pi Phi.

I like this a lot. Its a good way to put it. I'd put KD or pi phi in that 4th spot as well. Probably pi phi. Was considering zta bc of guys thoughts on them but in a girls pov, I put pi phi and kd above them

Core Four: PM, AXO, XO, KKG

Eight: + DDD, AGD, KD, ADPi/PBP (tie)

I guess that makes it the Fine Nine? :)

WE DO NOT NEED ONE. LET'S KEEP OUR CAMPUS CLEAR AND FREE OF THE NUMBERS BIAS. ATTEND TEXAS OR CORNELL IF YOU WANT GOOFY GREEK PHRASEOLOGY, BUT KEEP THOSE SILLY LADY LONGHORN NUMBERS GAMES FROM OUR PANHELLENIC HOMES.
