This are so funny! Love Chi O but yeah not a fan of the colors either. Also turtles are adorable!!! ;) I ranked PM last from day one because they girl who made my life hell in HS was one AT OLE MISS (we went to high school in North Carolina). No other reason. I also ranked AXO 2nd to last even though I loved them and a legacy just to piss my mom off. What silly things we do at 18. Well I guess my sillyness worked out because I'm on year 3 of loving my house.

I dropped alpha chi because in my hometown they're known as "Alpha Christ" so being young and unwise I thought they were like ADX, the Christian sorority, and wouldn't drink or have swaps with the fun fraternities. Little did I know that every single sorority drinks and parties.

Missing Alpha Phi, whose mascot is also a bear, and from what I hear from my friends in Zeta, they don't have a mascot but each chapter has little things that are unique to represent them. Also, Delta Gamma's symbol is the anchor but their mascot is the Hannah Doll, a raggedy-Ann/cabbage patch looking doll

On pref night I could not decide between two houses, so I started asking for a sign from God - I now realize how ridiculous that was). I saw a squirrel run across the street, so I decided that was my sign to pledge Alpha Gam.
I wonder if it would have changed my mind if the squirrel had gotten hit by a car while I was watching him run across the street?!

I ranked Phi Mu low just because their song reminded me of a little girl screaming about her first crush. I just couldn't picture myself ever standing there chanting! Of course all sorority songs are a little out there, that was just the worst one to me, no offense Phi Mu! I also personally LOATHE the color brown and that's why I cut Gamma Phi. On the flip side I adored Kappa, Pi Phi, and DGs colors and symbols and kept them for that!

Agreed - the Phi Mu door song is definitely the worst and Kappa's sounds like it was written by kindergartners. "Kappa Kappa Gamma, I am so happy that I am a...." I wish the whole door song thing didn't exist!

I kept Gamma Phi because I thought the brown and tan were really sophisticated after all the pinks and greens.

I'm from OOS and knew NOTHING about the Greek system, so I went through clueless. I dropped Kappa because I didn't like their house. Like their actual sorority house. Dropped Gamma Phi for that same reason. I thought it needed shutters on it or something. That's pretty petty of me, right?

cut alpha phi because all the two rushers I had could talk about was how Kourtney Kardashian was an APhi and I hate the Kardashians with a passion
cut ZTA because they hot boxed the hell out of me like I'm talking four girls at once and it was my first party of recruitment!
Kept Phi Mu after IWTs because the girl said they had a house dog lol
dropped theta because the rusher held her hand in front of her mouth our entire conversation and it was so loud and I couldn't read her lips so I have literally no idea what she was saying the whole time
dropped AGD because I hated their colors and thought it made them look like a bunch of little bob marleys running around

I was a Kappa legacy and dropped them because I was so tired of my family shoving it down my throat. I love the house I'm in, but I think it's hilarious that my best friends are Kappas.
The mascot thing is funny because I don't understand why Alpha Chi doesn't have a mascot other than that harp thing and then Theta with their kite. I feel like every sorority needs an animal mascot. Is it weird that I think about these things. Lol!
