signing bid card
by: pnmWhy do people say it's bad to only list one house on your bid card? I know I would only join one of the houses I'm still in the running for, and not for ranking reasons even, the houses are all comparably ranked, just truly for fit reasons. I'm going to go to final round obviously and if they change my mind I'll list them, but right now I'm pretty sure I only want the one house. People just keep saying "something about the algorithm" but I feel like that's just to encourage girls to try a house they don't think they like but might. I don't want to get a bid from a house and then decide not to join because I feel like that's disrespectful.

The computer system that matches girls to houses prioritizes girls who maximized their choices. Also, I know you've heard this but I'll say it again. The actives sisters truly do know who will fit in their house. Trust their judgement and give everything a shot. Fill out as many houses as you can and see what you can do. Snap bids are not a safe option to rely on. You have four weeks to change your mind before initiation. Just give it a shot. I promise you wont regret it!
