if rush is wack this year it's because of greekrank. please note the following:
for frats: the newly recolonizing houses should not be in these rankings. maybe some will be on the upswing soon, but none consistently mix and for most the brotherhood is small and random. this includes SAE, Fiji, SigNu etc. for the rest, ranking mostly reflects who you mix with, not the guys or brotherhood. there are houses ranked lower who have very tight brotherhoods (ZBT) and higher who don't (AD) (and vice versa too). you will get a sense of this if you actually meet brothers. make sure you visit houses where you are realistically a good fit. if you waste your time where you never have a shot you will be screwed
for srats: ranking is really hurting srats here as two have folded recently because so many girls preferred to drop than take a bid from a "bottom" house. the honest truth is that the ranking you see here is made by GEEDs and randoms and some by AZD (who used to be a bottom house not that long ago but somehow managed to propel themselves up the rankings through an aggressive GR campaign). so go where you vibe with the sisters. even mixing can be more variable than it seems on this site (for srats). plus as a girl you can pretty much go wherever you want if you have friends there.

PNMs — understand that the 5 recolonized frats are very different from one another in terms of history, vibe, size, and how they’re rebuilding. They range from smoke-and-mirrors ridiculousness to solid a.f. What you get into with one is very different from what you get into with another.

@Freshmen: Yes, you should know what you're getting into. ChiPsi recolonized in 2016, ZBT in 2014, and SigPi in 2013. Anyone suggesting houses like Fiji, SNU, and Llenroc -- who recolonized in 2022 and have $$ and their own houses -- are not coming back strong is kidding themselves.

This is a really weird post.
On the one hand, avoid the recolonized frats because they aren't as good as houses that mix a lot. On the other hand, don't rush the houses that mix best because you don't have a shot and will be screwed.
On the one hand, the newer houses have random brotherhoods. On the other hand, top-ranked AD's brotherhood has problems too.
On the one hand, rankings mean something and they really matter and it's not cool to see newer frats listed in them. On the other hand, when srats are ranked it's just geeds and AZD and ranks mean very little.
And ZBT is supposedly a lower-ranked house.
