Please give me a honest rundown on pledging
by: help meI'm honestly pretty concerned with pledging and hazing. If a rush a frat, what will I need to do to become a member? And what are certain houses doing that is so terrible, anyone have specifics? Please help me.

there's an old guard that hasn't changed much, has never been caught, etc. like 4 or 5 houses. you can find those names in other threads. it's hard to see how they're going to avoid getting suspended eventually. unfortunately they're some of the top houses.
then there's a group of frats that used to haze hard, but got caught. five to seven years ago the university started suspending frats for hazing left and right: like kicking off campus for multiple years, stuff like that. it was a crazy time on campus, apparently, with multiple houses per year disappearing. that changed a lot of stuff. some of those houses have since come back and cleaned up their act, they are safe bets.
then there's a decent sized group of frats that never hazed terribly to begin with. those are safe bets too.
