Advice for what to do?

Knew a few brothers at a house who got me into an annex during o-week, met other brothers who took a liking to me for some reason, and got the rush chair's number. Promised to invite me to events "throughout the semester." What to do?

You’ll figure this out by Junior year, but the only frats worth joining are SX, AD, SigPhi, and maybe ChiPsi. Otherwise you’re just wasting your time and probably hurting your social status.

I may be a clueless frosh, but I do know the school's too big for me to worry about things like "social status."

I also hear the first three stuff their PCs mainly with rich NY kids they knew from high school or something like that before the school year even starts or something crazy like that, and I don't want to live in a triple in Chi Psi, so I don't think I'll bother with those houses.
