Chi Phi is Suspended Explained
by: ClarityBeing suspended for spring rush doesn’t mean they’re kicked off. It means they’ll have to wait until the fall to pull a new class. It’s not the end of the world and it happens all the time. Just a few years ago, SX, AD, Lambda, and DX had the same issues — derecognized for a couple semesters and couldn’t register new PCs. Thing is, these houses had decent reps so they pulled underground classes and registered everyone once the suspension ended. I expect nothing less for Chi Phi that no doubt has dirty rushed at least some new members already.

SX and AD’s clout is unmatched. DX was hurt bad by sopro, and so was Lambda. In a lot of ways Lambda still hasn’t recovered, they used to be upper but now they’re a borderline mid house. Stop tryna mislead frosh and ruining their Greek life experience. The truth is chi phi will have no mixers, and they will miss out on a lot. No wet week mixers, no big parties, no slope day. It’s whack if you still join. There’s better options like zbt and even Lambda. I’m sorry chi phi but y’all are screwed. Don’t take naive frosh down with you

It’s unfortunate and ofc the semester will be a wash, but they’ll come back from it in the fall. All four of the those frats above had the same issue a few years ago and they didn’t drop at all in the ranks.
