What shapes the culture of a fraternity?

well i don’t want to make it sound too deep but frats usually attract rushes that like the vibe of the frat I.e the rushes are similar to the brothers and they can see themselves fit in the brotherhood. So for example someone who’s looking for a more rowdy/fratty experience will look at Chi Phi, DU, TDX etc. While a stoner who’s looking to just chill would look at a frat like phi tau or something. Every frats different and has a niche. Even ‘bottom’ tier frats like beta which is just students that are heavily involved on campus or ‘nerdy’ attract rushes that are just looking for a non-frat experience
