Remember Cornell Greek life is unique in that it is composed with kids that are highly experienced.

They are not state school frats, as most kids look look down upon its traditionalist nature.

When we don’t question what makes us deal uneasy, jealous or confused, we create spaces for abuses of power.

Greek life here is highly rapid and socially structured. Cornell is hypersonic. Although you can get into parties, make ‘friends’ you’re not truly part of elite circles unless you have something to offer (not of value, but of demand, rarity)

Wealthy kids make decisions with purpose. Who they choose to surround themselves is chosen with purpose. (School, wealth, family, friends)

NYC families are generally most powerful at Cornell whether it’s bc of legacy status, donations, or athletics , the city bores the most exclusive of the Ivy League

Greek life here is different in that if you want something, you can get it. Competition is fierce, and if there’s demand, there’s ration.

the upper echelon of Greek life Come from elite but not ignorance. Moves and decisions are calculated.

Be careful in high social circles
