Fall Rush Advice for Sophomores

Most frats don’t do fall rush. There’s going to be a list on Cornell SFL’s website
Scope out the annexes during O week and see who you vibe with. Talk to the brothers and ask if they’re looking for dudes for fall rush. Keep an open mind and don’t ‘suicide rush’ (going all in for one houses). You should start your search with 7-8 frats (a mix of houses from top to C4 mids) and then narrow them down to 4-5 frats. If you have any connections from high school, be sure to reach out to them. There’s no harm in doing that. Let me know if you have any other questions

for the top houses you’ll probably have to know someone but for c4 mids to upper mids you won’t have a problem as long as you pull up with a good ratio. Make friends with the people in your transfer group/floor and pu with them. The girls might end up joining sororities which would help with relations and frats love bidding a group of valid kids that are already friends.
The parties will be starting on the 15th and will be concentrated on eddy, Catherine and cook

Also know that most upper frats don't do fall rush but those connections you make during o week can carry into spring rush

Thanks. Do you know if Sophomores can just show up to annexes and houses? Do we need to know someone?
