Ranks For the Freshman Boys

The top houses at Cornell (in no order)
Sig Chi, Sig Phi, DU, AD
Their "ranking" switches around every year because of how the chips fall (they all compete for the same top kids), but they have been the most relevant houses with C4 (Top sorority) mixers every weekend, most wealth, etc.
It will be hard for you to get into these houses unless you are in the know (top feeder school, brother, connections) or are unusually athletic, cool, good looking and get in the mix
There are other good houses if you don't get in such as Sig Pi, Chi Psi, Chi Phi, DX, but no one turns down a bid from the top ones for these unless they have other commitments (brother or early sign)

L take. There’s 33 frats at Cornell with their own vibe. Don’t go for social status and join a top frat. The perks might sound great to you but you are going to get tired of the mixers and parties your first year in. The brotherhood is going to stay forever. Just join a house where you vibe well with and can see yourself hanging out with them 20 years down the lane
