core four?

everyone references core four but why are they better? if i want to be in a fun, social house where i can make close friends and go to parties are those 4 houses my only options?

Nah not really. Since there’s so many frats and so few sororities, social schedule for most sororities are packed. Every frat has a decent number of attractive/chill kids. C4 tends to mix exclusively with the ‘top frats’. ‘Top frats’ have more money and tend to throw better events than other frats and also attract the more chiller/attractive dudes. But no matter what sorority you end up in, you can chill at any house. Houses usually don’t turn away girls. Id just say wait for rush and meet the sisters. Join for the sisterhood and not for the social clout. You’ll likely still maintain contacts with all your friends that you made during the fall that end up at ‘top’ Greek orgs and they can get you into events etc. it’s too early to worry about this stuff. Spend time with your family and friends this summer. Trust me you’ll miss them

I would say you have equal opportunity to make close friends in both the core four and other sororities. It's what you make of it and who makes up your mc. However, I will say from what i've noticed it's easier to make closer friends in sororities that are not in the core 4 because they are less focused on status and appearances

So 8 of the 12 sororities are a waste of time? Considering how many C4 girls complain of toxic situations and cliques I’m not even sure they would agree with u. Not everyone only cares about clout (or mixing with “top” frats with SA accusations)

don't really care about "clout" i just want to make good friends and have the opportunities to go to parties also. is it easier to make close friends in core four or do all sororities have good sisterhood?
