Why is Tri Delt coed?

This confused me during rush, but how can Tri Delt be part of Panhellenic if they’re coed? Doesn’t that make them a frat, like AZ or Seal and Serpent. Doesn’t make sense to me how they can be considered a sorority if they have men and women in the “sisterhood.”

What’s the point of having IFC and Panhell if people are pushing for coed frats and srats? Should we just have one governing body and will the brotherhoods and sisterhoods now just be called hoods?
