What is the process of COB like?
by: .I dropped out of sorority recruitment because I did not get my top choice and did not like any of the houses I had left. I'm interested in maybe doing COB and I was wondering how the process worked and if I would have more control in which house I ended up in compared to formal recruitment(if I didn't want to be part of a house, I would be able drop them instead of being forced to socialize with them).

only a select few houses offer cob in the fall. u essentially coffee chat a few members of the house and maybe attend a couple events but its way more chill than formal rush. however the odds of getting a bid during cob aren’t significantly higher and the houses u want probably don’t do cob so don’t rely on it
