DU Getting Kicked off?
by: AnonHeard that DU got in trouble for hazing or something. This true? If so is anything going to happen, don’t want to make a mistake and join a house that’s not going to exist in the near future.

DU as a national organization is a dry fraternity with a one strike system for anything as minor as an alcohol allegation. Earlier this semester, DU got accused of both hazing and alcohol usage by Cornell. This means that even if DU is somehow able to beat the hazing allegations, they will lose their charter from the national organization which will ultimately lead to their house being reclaimed by the school.

To be honest, if you’re dead set on joining DU, you could wait it out until next semester to see what happens to them.
My advice would be if DU likes you, other houses will too. Do regular rush and make sure you don’t put everything into one basket.

What does that mean for a potential freshman like myself who was currently dirty rushing DU and another top house?
What’s the advice here for me?
