How many guys do houses like du, sig chi take spring?

DU usually takes a fall pc so they’ll generally take 10-15 in the spring. SX only does spring rush and they’ll take 17-22 guys.

Last spring was a bad rush for DU where they got crushed by Sig Chi and Sig Phi in cross rush which is why they had to take a bigger fall pc to make up for it. Although of the top 3 houses, DU is the only one who really participates in fall rush. Otherwise they generally aim for the 15-20 mark like SX.
SX is like above commenter said 17-22. However, you have to factor in that a quarter of those bids are basically for football sophs who rush in the spring.

Another thing to remember is that the top houses don't drop a lot of bids. Their yields are pretty high around 75-90%. So while they have a target class of 15-20, they will only give out like 17-22 bids total. Of which some of is crossrush. You really need to dirty rush to have any real shot in the spring otherwise it is a waste of time.
