Do you need to dirty rush to get into a top frat
by: SheeshIt’s annoying to get into the top parties for freshman so to get into a good frat do you need to dirty rush or can you meet the brother during rush week

This is the dirty rush tier. These are not my take on ranks, just how much each house prioritizes dirty rush.

DX | Chi Phi
The top 2 will have 95% of their bids sorted by the end of the semester pretty much all from prior connections or kids they met during oweek and dirty rushed throughout the semester. The remaining quite literally 1-2 bids will likely go to athletes or the 1 in 1000 sick kid they like during rush. The next 3 will also have 95% of their bids sorted but will inevitably lose some to the top 2 so they may give out 5-10 bids TOTAL during rush from kids they meet there similarly to athletes or the 1 in 1000 sick kids.
Below that, the next 3 will have 70-85% of their bids sorted but will inevitably lose some of the top kids to the top 5 houses so will probably end up giving 5-10 bids each (20-25 bids total) to fill their classes as they are also larger houses.

Would say its arguably more restrictive for the Chi Psi, DX, Chi Phi grouping. Unless they do extremely poorly in cross rush (like Chi Phi last year), they will generally bid 3-7 kids who they met in rush. This does not mean 21 individual bids or kids as most likely kids cross rush these 3 and get bids to 2 of them at most.
