What happened at KDR?

Lower/Bottom houses get like anywhere from 10ish (ALM, KDR) to 50 (Beta, PhiDelt, etc.). Their pool is already pretty limited so they really need to bid everyone. Kids just decided a no greek experience was better for them than joining a house like KDR. Guys are nice but possibly have a negative social image on campus in the sense that people think they are weird af.

Greeklife in general is dying. KDR is going to be the first casualty. They have like 15 guys half of whom are seniors. Pre 2015 all frats even houses like KDR/Acacia etc. all had 30-40 guys at least. Rush numbers dwindling hurts the bottom houses significantly.

It has been dying since the Psi U boot. With fewer kids rushing what is happening is that kids who in 2010-2015 would be lower are getting into lower mid, lower mid into mid and vice versa. Basically the quality of frats compared to what they were in 2010 is far lower save for a few frats that were once lower/bottom back then and have now rose (for example TDX, PhiTau)
