Why Houses Are Doing COB

Pike and PiKapp took subpar classes in terms of numbers this semester so they’re trying to get heads. PhiTau is more interesting, considering they took a 21-man PC already. I’d think they’re either trying to lock in people who didn’t sign up for rush or stealing an extra few from other mids. Expect them to be the most competitive mid for COB - they definitely need the heads the least.

At the same time, think PhiTau will probably be the best one to join if you are a frosh interested simply because they already have a large class and you won't be given a bid to be a number there. Pike and PiKapp need more numbers to fill their classes. It is a marginal game with marginal gains.

Yes, the ones with big PCs are gonna be more picky about who they choose, but there’s always still a chance, just keep your options open for COB
