Ranks shouldn’t be solely mixer schedule

Cornell is entering a problem where sororities and frats are justifying each other’s ranking when both organizations, by themselves, suck.
I’m not going to name names. But take apple pie fraternity and delta pie sorority. Originally, they were both “top.” But over the years, Apple pie’s PC has gotten increasingly weirder, antisocial, unattractive, and not fun. The same has happened with Delta pie.
But neither of their rankings would go down because people would insist “how could Apple pie go down, they mix with DELTA PIE” and “how could delta pie go down, they mix with APPLE PIE”

Not saying they’re awful but are they really “top tier” in looks, personality, or any other metric? Not really

It’s all relative. PCs have been getting worse for the c4 each year, but same holds true for every other srat. It’s a reflection of Cornell becoming weirder and more academic-focused each year, not attributable to any one srat.
