Message for freshmen but I know it’s hard to not consider clout when rushing but at the end of the day clout only lasts so long but the friendships you make in greek life can last forever. You should go where you feel like you fit the best even if that means it’s not a top or upper tier organization. Mixers are just a perk of Greek life but they aren’t everything. As someone who took clout into significant consideration when rushing I quickly learned that clout doesn’t necessarily come with meaningful friendships. So I strongly emphasize that you should join a frat/srat where you truly feel at home whether it’s a bottom/middle/top tier
